A Working Mum
My first experience of motherhood was very challenging. I don’t know what to expect and what to do when it happens. God is great he gave us instincts and supporting love one.
I remember his delivery, I didn’t know what to expect, but the midwife said your body will let you know when it is time. Oh yeah! Mother Nature spoke to me load and clear and I listen and responded. Despite few complications I had a healthy bouncing baby boy with a third degree tear that took me into surgery for an hour.
Sometimes when I reflect and look at my children’s development and my contribution to their lives motherhood is the greatest job with the greatest rewards.
I was a working mum when Ethan was born and because of this I missed out on a lot of his development to be a working mother is surely a hard task. After spending the whole day at work they have to come home and clean, cook, do laundry, and everything else. Unless they have a housekeeper or some other kind of helping hand, they have to do all the work by themselves. Working moms deserve a big respect for their strength and energy to be able to perform their jobs every day. I promised myself if I ever had another child I will stay home. Yes am home with the kids and loving every bit of it.
